Stress management
The keyword is quality of life instead of quantity of life. It is important to separate these two expressions. Many people forget to sense their boundaries and limits during everyday living and end up in bed ill every break and holiday. Confusing quality with quantity for too long is a certain recipe for ending up with symptoms of stress which can lead to diseases and sick leave for many months – even years.
The lifestyle most people lead today is influenced by many stress factors the result being lack of energy, memory loss and difficult concentrating, depression, anger, head aches, back pain, allergies, digestive troubles etc.
Luckily our physical, mental and emotional potential can be harmonised by simple changes and exercises and without use of medicine.
Courses
“Terapeutisk Syntese” regularly teach courses in stress management. Through practical exercises we teach you to handle daily life stress by getting to know yourself.
The essence of our courses and workshops is to provide the participants with an understanding of the connection between body and mind as well as offering tools to recognize and act on symptoms of stress.
The techniques are among others adopted from hatha yoga, pilates and concentration improving meditation.
The courses are mainly active for the participants to immediately try out the theory which is presented in the form of power point presentations, talks and debates.
We are all unique with different needs and skills. What may work for one can have the opposite effect on somebody else which is why we take considerations to the individual person and the management of stress.
We offer companies tailor made courses and workshops for their employees whether it being for preventive or curative purposes.
The teachers are well educated and have several years of experience with teaching stress management and treating stress related symptoms.
